      It was so awesome to have a full house at youth again Sunday! Great to see old faces and new. Keep inviting your friends – we love having them.

 

     “The word of the Lord came to me, saying, ‘Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.’ ‘Ah Sovereign Lord,’ I said, ‘I do not know how to speak; I am only a child.’ But the Lord said to me, ‘ Do not say, I am only a child. You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,’ declares the Lord.” Jeremiah 1:1-8

 

Counting on God will be our theme this semester. Before we were born God knew us and put His words in our mouth. He wants us to go out into the world and to serve others, to be in service for Him, to love our neighbors. We can trust God will always be with us.

 

     The Cake Auction/Variety Show is Sunday. Remember: this is our biggest fund raiser. Get a partner and start making plans for your cake, or three people make 2 cakes. Also, let us know who will be participating in the variety show either alone or with a group. Meet in the F.E.C. at regular time.
